Earning Money Online is not a hit-and-miss journey. When you make a website and you intend to use it to make money online, you must be specific what you have to put into this website. Your goal has to be geared for long-term purposes. Don't be like others who built a website or blog and left it without coming back again. That kind of attitude only adds up to the clutter in the world wide web.
An example of a goal is when you decide to concentrate on putting Google Adsense ad in your website. Friendster social networking website has a contract with Google to place ads only from Google Adsense. But for you, you cannot strike that kind of contract with Google.
Another example is when you focus on putting Amazon affiliate ads in your website. Amazon ads can be an excellent source of money from your website.
Or you can have a goal of selling your talent in your website. What is your talent? Maybe you are an expert of a particular field of knowledge. If that is the case, then you can be a consultant. Or you can write an ebook and sell it online.
The format of your website may change, but let your goal moves towards a specific direction.
